You may have noticed we have a few new additions to our service lately. We have recently launched our free eBook and eAudiobook download service.
Now we all know that there’s no feeling like leafing through the pages of a good book while curled up in a favourite reading spot, but there are times when we need the convenience of an e-book reader. They’re light, can store a number of books and don’t take up much space in your holiday luggage or work bag, and let’s be honest, we don’t always want the world to know what we’re reading!
Bolton Libraries now offer a free eBook download service which is supplied by Askews and Holts. We have over 500 exciting titles to choose from, including fiction, non-fiction, children and young adult titles.
It’s really easy to get started too. First of all make sure you have an Internet connection outside of a library building.* Depending on the device you’re downloading to, you’ll need to install a piece of software or an app. There’s a useful guide on the website and lots of frequently asked questions to help you along the way.
You can borrow 3 titles at once for up to 21 days and there are no overdue letters or fines to worry about.
And that’s not all that’s new here at Bolton Libraries. We also have a free eAudiobook download service, supplied by W.F,Howes. If you like to listen to your books being read to you wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, there’s something for you.
All you need to get started is a compatible device, an internet connection* and a few minutes to work your way through our helpful instructions.
Like the eBook download service, you can borrow 3 titles for up to 21 days and there are no overdue letters or fines.
